Bullguard Review

Bullguard assessment

The suite offers an anti virus scanner that uses a data source of known threats and can block trojans before it has been added to the database. A firewall, vulnerability scanner and system back-up tools can be included within the package along with 5GB of cloud storage to help users shield their essential files. The suite is also capable of monitoring on the net activity and identifying shady behaviour. A spam filtration can prevent users from simply being bombarded with unsolicited text messages and a phishing coverage service warns of potential hazards in search results.

Bullguard’s set up is easy and quick to navigate, requesting no more than an email address to produce an online accounts. Once the computer software has been set up it instantly runs a scan to optimize efficiency. It is doing so while not giving users the option to delay this step or opt out completely.

Once the software contains finished their scan a dashboard looks with twelve modules branded ‘Antivirus’, ‘Firewall’, ‘Vulnerabilities’, ‘Backup’, ‘PC Tune Up & Game Booster’, ‘Identity Protection’, ‘Parental Control’, ‘Home Network Scanner’ and ‘Secure Browser’. All these features possesses a drop-down menu that allows you access added options.

The UI is easy to understand, with each feature displayed to be a tile to the dashboard and offering a great icon to point whether it’s working well. Yet , some of these floor tiles are not clickable and require the user to available the relevant part of the application to see more information. The solution is a little in the resource heavy side, necessitating multiple gb of storage area when jogging and forcing a large number of record processes dynamic. On a 4K display a few elements of the AJE look pixelated, although this may not a major issue on most Computers.
